This week we're learning about the Moose. We learned male moose have antlers that shed every winter to conserve energy and grow back in the spring bigger each year. This week, we're doing another craft and with a fun sensory twist. Join us for finger paint moose!
I cut out construction paper heads that the kids glued onto their white page.
They painted their own hands with a chosen color and stamped them on as antlers to the moose head.
The sensation of painting your hand is different! We also talked about which hand was easier to use for painting, the topic of right and left handedness. Such a quick, fun craft for moose this week!
